Vantassel helped lead UWL to its third straight WIAC Championship with a seventh-place finish (22:25.3 on the 6,000-meter course) on October 28. It was her second straight All-WIAC First Team honor after placing sixth last season. Vantassel earned four career all-conference accolades, finishing 11th in 2019 and 13th in 2021.
