Steele averaged 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in two UWL victories. He finished with a career-high 19 points and nine rebounds in a win at Augustana College (Ill.) on December 28. Steele then totaled 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in a victory at Bethel University (Minn.) on December 31. He shot 62.5% (10-of-16) from the field in the two contests, including 66.7% (eight-of-12) from three-point range. Steele was six-of-eight at the line.
