Steien recorded three top-10 finishes at the Rochester (Minn.) Invitational on December 2-4. She placed third (57.82) in the 100 butterfly, eighth in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.02) and 10^th in the 200 breaststroke (2:27.61). Steien was also on four relays, including the seventh-place (1:48.31) 200 medley relay. UWL finished 10^th in the 400 medley relay (4:02.53), 11^th in the 200 freestyle (1:39.58) and 16^th in the 400 freestyle relay (3:41.70).
