Quam blocked a pair of potential game-leading field goals in UWL's 28-21 victory at NCAA Division II Wayne State University (Mich.) September 17. He blocked a 45-yard field goal with 7:35 left in the third quarter with the score tied, 21-21. On the next Wayne State (Mich.) possession, Quam blocked a Warriors' 39-yard field goal with 2:21 remaining in the third quarter. He also had five tackles, including 1.5 for loss and 1.0 quarterback sack. UWL earned its first win over an NCAA II team since a 48-0 victory over Missouri Science & Technology on September 26, 2009.
