Gengler played in nine games in 2019, recording four tackles. He had tackles vs. Dickinson State University (N.D.), UW-Stout, UW-Whitewater and UW-Eau Claire. Gengler appeared in four games in 2017 and 2018, finishing with three tackles in each season. He had a career-high two tackles vs. UW-River Falls in 2017.
