Lahr went 5-0 on the week to improve to 7-0 on the season. He earned a win by fall (1:20) over Riley Kauzlaric of UW-Whitewater in UWL's 25-20 dual victory over the 13th-ranked Warhawks on January 16. The victory cut UW-Whitewater's lead to 20-19 before UWL secured the dual win with a fall at 285-pounds. 
   
Lahr captured the 197-pound title at the Cornell College (Iowa) Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational January 18 with a 4-0 record. He won the title with a win by fall, two by major decision and one by technical fall. He opened with a technical fall (17-2) over Dylan Messer of Augustana College (Ill.) before a major decision (16-2) over Montana Doty of the University of the Ozarks (Ark.) in the quarterfinals. Lahr won by major decision (13-2) over Derek Venteicher of Loras College (Iowa) in the semifinals and captured the crown with a win by fall (6:35) over Max Schmitz of UW-Platteville.
