Schraeder captured the individual title at the WIAC Championships on November 2, completing the 8,000-meter course in 25:38.7. It was Schraeder's fourth career All-WIAC award, including third first team honor. He finished third in 2017 and 2018 and 16th in 2016. He is the fifth runner in school history to earn three All-WIAC First Team accolades. Jason Tomrell (seventh in 1998, fifth in 1999 and 2001), Tyler Foos (first in 2001, fifth in 2000, seventh in 1999), Connor Lonning (fourth in 2007 and 2008, fifth in 2009) and Thomas Schultz (second in 2017, fourth in 2016 and 2018) each earned three first team awards.
