Harley-Davidson Collegiate Meet Results
Milwaukee, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics squad captured the Harley-Davidson Collegiate Meet Friday night. The Eagles finished with a team score of 187.250 while UW-Whitewater placed second at 187.200. UW-Stout was third (185.700) and UW-Oshkosh fourth (180.975).
The Eagles' overall score of 187.250 was a season-high. UW-L also set season-highs on the vault (47.600) and balance beam (46.925).
UW-L's
Christa Booman captured the all-around (37.850) and balance beam (9.750) titles Friday night. She was also fifth on the floor exercise (9.450) and tied for sixth on the vault (9.525).
The Eagles'
Tegan Oare tied for second on the vault (9.600) while
Nicole Mickelson tied for fourth (9.575) and
Sheree Romesburg tied for sixth (9.525) with Booman.
Katie Palluck placed second (9.575),
Jessica Herrmann third (9.500) and
Carly Kiesow tied for ninth (9.225) on the floor exercise.
On the uneven parallel bars, UW-L's
Morgan Shene was fifth (9.500) and
Kristen Buschke ninth (9.325). The Eagles'
Jen Andersen and
Taylor Cochran tied for eighth on the balance beam (9.525).
UW-L returns to action Friday, February 22 hosting UW-Oshkosh at 6:30 p.m.
