Madison, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse senior Matthew Diehl of Prairie du Sack (Sauk Prairie) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Diehl won three individual events in UW-L's dual victory over UW-Oshkosh Nov. 21. He captured the 100 (48.76) and 200 (1:50.62) freestyle as well as the 200 breaststroke (2:18.92).

UW-L returns to action Friday, Dec. 4 at the UW-River Falls Invitational being held in Minneapolis, Minn.
