Tricia Adkins won a pair of National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) championships on the balance beam (1992, 1994) at UWL, one of six gymnasts in national history to win two crowns. She also earned NCGA All-America honors on the floor exercise, placing fifth (1992) and third (1994). A 1994 NCGA All-Academic selection, Adkins was selected to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) All-Time Gymnastics Team. She won three individual league titles, capturing two balance beam crowns (1992, 1994) and one floor exercise championship (1994).
Adkins earned a bachelor's degree in French and Spanish in 1994.
