Dr. Thomas Rosandich is president, chief executive officer and founder of the United States Sports Academy in Mobile, Ala. The institution is a private, non-profit graduate organization designed to serve America as its national school of sport with programs of excellence in instruction, research and service. Under his guidance, the Academy has assumed a major leadership role in the area of sport education.
A former marine Corps Officer, Dr. Rosandich has served as coach and sport ambassador for the United States Department of State. A 1954 graduate of La Crosse State Teachers College, Dr. Rosandich was a football and track star. He has held many posts in higher education, including athletic director at UW-Parkside and UW-Milwaukee.
He was named to the National Catholic Basketball Committee and to the National Board of Trustees for International Marketing Institute for sports.
