Stacy M. Theel
Athlete: 1988-1993
Gymnastics and track and field kept Stacey Theel busy as a student-athlete. Theel participated in the all-around in gymnatics all four years, while excelling in the triple jump in track. She was captain of both teams her senior year. Theel earned all-American honors all four years in gymnastics and during her junior year in track. She was selected as the university's 1993 NCAA Woman of the year and made the conference honor roll 10 times. Theel, '93, majored in community health education and business administration. During college, she participated in student senate, Recreation Majors Club, and numerous volunteer projects, along with making the Dean's List.
