Sharon Stubler
Athlete: 1983-1987
Cross country and track were two of Sharon Stubler's passions while attending college from 1983-87. Stubler, a cross country and track standout at La Crosse Aquinas High School, helped the university's cross country team run to a conference title in 1983, and the track team to conference titles from 1984-87. Along the way she earned letters in both sports, all four years. In cross country, she was named first-team, all-conference from 1984-86, and was an All-American in 1984, placing 15th at nationals. In track during her senior year, Stubler placed fifth at nationals in 3,000-meter indoor run, and eighth nationally in the 3,000-meter outdoor run. She earned a double major in accountacny and economics in 1987.
