Ron D. Myhra
Athlete: 1973-1976
At halfback during the 1973-76 seasons, Myhra set many records, such as
--Most touchdowns rushing in a season, 15 in 1975
--Most touchdowns rushing in a game, 5 in 1975 vs. UW-Superior
--Most points scored in a single game, 30 in 1976 vs. UW-Superior
--Most points scored in a season, 102 in 1976
--Most punt return attempts in a career, 104
For his efforts, Myhra earned NAIA I second team All-American honors in 1976. That year, he also signed as a free agent with the Toronto Argonauts. Myhra lettered all four years and helped the '73 and '75 squads claim the conference title. Also, he played on the baseball team in 1974. After graduating in 1978, Myhra played for a national championship rugby team in 1979.
