Robert L. Krepfle
Athlete: 1981-1984

Football was Robert Krepfle's sport during college from 1981 to 1984. Krepfle's name still dominates the UW-L all-time records listings. His records, which still stood at the beginning of the '98 season, include: most passing attempts in a game (509), longest passing play (98), and most total offense attempts in a game (55). He also remains among the all-time leaders in 12 other categories.

During his senior year, Krepfle received NAIA III Second-Team, All-American, All-Conference and Most Valuable Player honors, and was team captain. He signed as a free agent with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys in 1984. Krepfle also participated in track his sophomore year.
