    Majoring in Physical Education and Recreation at UW-La Crosse, Dick Ritger was an outstanding bowler. He joined the Professional Bowlers Association in 1965 after being named Wisconsin Bowler of the Year three times.
    A past-president of the PBA, Ritger currently ranks ninth on the all-time professional bowlers money-winning list with earning in excess of $400,000. He has recently reduced tournament participation to devote more time to clinics, writing and personal appearances.
