Healy served as UWL's head women's cross country coach from 1991-2001, guiding the Eagles to 13 top-10 finishes at the NCAA III Championships.  UWL captured four WIAC cross country titles under Healy as he was named the WIAC Coach of the Year each season.  During the 2001-02 campaign, UWL earned top-four national trophies in the "triple crown" (cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field) for the first time since 1983-84.  UWL placed fourth at the NCAA III cross country championships in 2001 while finishing third at the 2002 indoor track & field championships and fourth outdoors.
