    Zastrow set national and state records in swimming as a freshman and sophomore and attained a national rating as a swimming and diving official during her freshman year. Zastrow also ran hurdles and high jumped on the track team, played center forward on the field hockey team  and played on the state championship basketball team. Zastrow went on to earn a master's from UW-Whitewater 1979.
