Laura Pastore says her biggest collegiate, athletic accomplishment was making the reputable gymnastics team as a freshman. A two-time National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) All-America, Pastore captured the national vault title in 1995 after placing second in 1994. Her score of 9.750 on the vault at the 1995 national championships set a UW-L record which stood until 2009.
She was named to the NCGA and College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Teams in 1995.
Ziegler graduated with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1996.
