Lace (Van Zeeland) Luedke was a four-year letter winner in cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field, serving as team captain for all three teams.  She earned six career NCAA Division III All-America honors in track & field, including three indoor and three outdoor.  Luedke was a member of the second-place 4x400-meter relay at the 1994 and 1996 indoor national championships and third-place 4x400 in 1997.  She was a member of the NCAA III outdoor champion 4x400-meter relay in 1997 while also individual accolades with a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash.  Luedke was on UWL's third-place 4x400-meter relay at the 1998 outdoor championships. 

The school record holder in the indoor 600-meter run (1:35.43), Luedke won 10 WIAC titles in track & field.  She was a member of four straight (1994-97) first-place 4x400-meter relays at the league indoor championships.  At the WIAC Outdoor Championships, Luedke won the 400-meter dash in 1997 and 1998 while being on the winning 4x400-meter relay in both seasons.  She was also on the Eagles' first-place 4x800-meter relay in 1996 and 1998. 

Selected the 1998 WIAC Outdoor Track & Field Co-Scholar-Athlete, Luedke was named to the 1997 and 1998 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American® First Team.  She was named the recipient of the 1998 Wisconsin NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

Luedke earned a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1997.  She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2006 and her PhD in Orthopedic and Sports Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (Provo, Utah) in 2016. Luedke is a lecturer in the kinesiology department at UW-Oshkosh and lives in Menasha, Wisconsin.
