Kimberly MacKrille Whitford
Athlete: 1987-1991



    Kimberly MacKrille Whitford became one of the most successful gymnasts in UW-La Crosse history during college from 1987-1991. Whitford was on the women's gymnastics team that won the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association title in '88. That '88 team and the '90 team won conference titles. Individually, Whitford was the '88 NCGA All-Around Champion and the '88 and '89 NCGA Beam Champion. She was the NCGA's Outstanding Senior Gymnast in 1991. At the conference level, she was the Beam Champion in '89 and '90, the All-Around Champion in '90.

    Whitford holds 11 All-American and 13 All-Conference honors. She was a conference and university scholar athlete for 1990-91.
