Kim Dankemeyer was voted to the WIAC All-Time Track & Field Team, earning eight career National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III All-America accolades. She picked up three indoor All-America honors in the shot put after finishing second at the 1994 NCAA III Championships and third in 1995 and 1996. Dankemeyer earned five career NCAA III Outdoor All-America awards, including winning the shot put title in 1995. She was also second in the shot put in 1996 and fourth in 1993. Dankemeyer also earned All-America honors in the hammer throw, placing fourth in 1996.
In the discus throw, Dankemeyer was second at the 1995 NCAA III Championships to earn All-America honors.
She won three (1994-96) indoor WIAC titles in the shot put.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dankemeyer currently serves as an eighth grade English teacher at Pilgrim Park Middle School. She earned her bachelor's degree from UWL in 1997 in secondary education-English. Dankemeyer earned a master's degree in athletic administration from Springfield College (Mass.) in 2003 and a master's in library science from Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) in 2009.
