Jon Lauscher earned three All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honors while playing football at UWL, including first team accolades in 1990 and 1991. He was a second team choice in 1989.
Named to the 1991 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-America First Team, Lauscher led UWL with 96 tackles in 1991. He recorded a team-high 68 unassisted tackles while finishing second with 7.0 tackles for loss. Lauscher also had two interceptions and one fumble recovery.
He ranks eighth in career tackles (248) at UWL, finishing with a career-high 18 versus UW-Platteville on October 12, 1990. Lauscher was a member of two WIAC championship teams (1989, 1991), one National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) playoff team (1989) and one National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III playoff team (1991).
A native of Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, Lauscher earned his bachelor's degree in community health education in 1994.
