Athlete: 1961-1965
Josh Coggins assisted in La Crosse's success on the basketball court in the early 1960s. Coggins was a guard for the Cagers from '61 to '65, serving as a team captain for the '63-64 squad that won the conference championship and played in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics tournament.
His indivdual honors include a school record for the most assists (116), all-conference, all-district special mention and team most valuable player honors. Coggins shared his experience by coaching at YMCAs in Eau Clairie and Fond du Lac.
