Coach 1923-1941


    A graduate of the Normal College of the American Gymnastics Union, Reuter came to La Crosse in 1920 and taught until retirement in 1956. He organized and coached the first men's gymnastics team. Instrumental in the development and refinement of many teaching and coaching techniques,  Reuter has received numerous university and community awards, including the naming of a campus residence hall in his honor in 1957.
