H. Allan Poser won wrestling letters three years for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Indians. During the 1965-66 season, he captured the All-American title in the 191-pound class.
Poser's communications career began during his undergraduate days when he worked at WKBH-Radio and WKBT-Television. That experience, combined with an eventually-earned master's degree in audio-visual media, was the base for a partnership in Moore-Poser Advertising. He was active in community and campus organizations, including the UW-L Alumni Association.
