Bowler Glenn Mueller rolled his way into the UW-L record book. He was on the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) championship team from 1967-69, and the conference championship team from 1967-70. In 1969, he was the U.S. representative to the national collegiate bowling championship world cup in Japan, placing sixth.
He rolled the all-time, three-game series record of 750 on the campus' Teigen Lanes.
Mueller earned a bachelor's degree in physical education in 1971.
He managed and owned numerous bowling alleys after graduation and coached the UW-Whitewater National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) team in 2002, the year he retired.
