F. Lee Stephenson is the first woman to ever be inducted into the UW-L Wall of Fame. She coached women's track and field from 1964-75 and women's cross country from 1970-75.
She was advisor of the Women's Recreation Association, responsible for administration of the women's intramural and extramural programs at UW-La Crosse from 1959-72, as well as being the women's athletic director from 1972-78.
She has been chairman of the Wisconsin Division for Girl's and Women's Sports, advisor and chairman of the UW-La Crosse Board of Women's Officials. She served at the 1975 AIAW National Track and Field Championships.
