    Achievement in a variety of sports has been Donna Hoffman's trademark since her student days. She competed in six sports--swimming, field hockey, badminton, tennis, softball and basketball--and earned honors in three. Hoffman qualified for five events in the 1970 NAIA swim meet, placing sixth in the freestyle relay. She was named to the Midwest All-College Team in field hockey in 1969-70 and took the 1971 state badminton singles championship plus numerous other badminton titles in Wisconsin and Illinois. After college, she played 15 years with the Milwaukee Field Hockey Association and represented them in the national tournament 12 times. She was the 1987 state champion in Volvo tennis. Hoffman taught and coached in the Cedar Grove-Belgium District from 1971-86 and was varsity basketball coach for 12 years, swim coach for 10 and assistant track and field coach for seven. Her teams won four basketball conference championship and two regional titles and consistently ranked in the top six in state track.
