Athlete: 1977-1981
Becky Clark Sterner swam her way into the record books at UW-La Crosse from 1977-1981. She earned letters all four years and was captain of the team her junior and senior years. Clark Sterner set school records in the 50-meter butterfly, 100-meter butterfly, 100-meter freestyle, 50-meter freestlye, 200-meter free relay, 200-meter-free medley relay and 400 medley relay. She set numerous other pool records and conference records in the 100-meter freestyle and 50-meter butterfly. An All-American, Clark Sterner qualified for nationals twice.
