    Anne Pufahl was a setter and hitter on the university's powerful volleyball teams of the early '80s. Pufahl led the team in assists, serving percentages and digs her final three years of competition, and served as team captain each year. All four years the team qualified for nationals. The teams also earned three conference championships.

    Pufahl lead the conference in assists and was a scholar-athlete her junior and senior years. Pufahl, '83, was a student senator and in the Recreation Club. She earned a degree in recreation administration and coaching.
